OASE BOOK

To make this book I had a list of instructions. I had a format, a source, a font, a size and I had to use the copy machine. As a source I used the site www.oase.nl. What attracted me about this website was the visual image. The main subject of this website are various covers; covers of books and of magazines from Oase. I took the Oase book covers as a subject. I wanted to create an archive for these book covers. I arranged them by placing the title first, middle title, heading left, right, title, only image and an archive of everything. This arrangement can also be found in the book.

For example: the yellow tab located at the top of the book is called 'title above'. The archival feel is also reflected in my use of the copy machine. I placed one book cover under the scanner, then I placed another book cover next to the first one and placed it under the scanner too. You can see the effect of the copy machine in the book, because I put it under the copy machine several times.
